How to Sign Up?

To schedule a live online meeting with a Self-Help staff member, call 213-830-0845. Do 1 Qualify? (What are the Prerequisites?)

  • Self-Help Center appointments are for self-represented litigants only. We cannot help you if you have an attorney.
  • You must already have a court case open in Los Angeles County (you will need your case number to sign up).
  • You want to do any of the following:
  • You want to get or change custody and visitation orders.
  • You want to get or change your child or spousal support orders.
  • You would like help responding to a request to make or change custody, visitation, or support orders.

Instructions:

  • If you speak a language that we are not able to offer, you will need to provide your own interpreter.
  • On the day of your appointment please inform the staff member if you do not have access to a computer and printer.

This appointment will be online only. You will receive assistance remotely from home.
